Liquid Facelift

Simply stated, a liquid facelift utilizes one or more injectable fillers to improve the appearance of the face by minimizing folds, wrinkles, creases, fine lines, loss of fullness, sagging, and other facial flaws that most commonly result from aging. Through injectable fillers, we are able to remove years’ worth of aging on the face without turning to more traditional facelift techniques. Injectable fillers allow patients to achieve facial rejuvenation without the expense and recovery period of a surgical facelift. While the results of your Edina liquid facelift will be temporary, the treatments may be repeated as necessary. It works by blocking the nerve impulses in the injected muscles. This process slows the muscle activity that leads to the formation of lines between the eyebrows. While BOTOX® Cosmetic is designed to minimize the appearance of frown lines between the eyebrows, it may also be used to reduce the appearance of crows’ feet and other wrinkles around the eyes.
Radiesse®
Radiesse® may be an ideal treatment in your facial rejuvenation if you are unhappy with the appearance of wrinkles, deep folds around the cheeks and mouth, or fine lines. Radiesse® improves the appearance of the skin by plumping and smoothing the surface. Through Radiesse®, patients can revitalize and rejuvenate their appearance while still achieving natural-looking results. Radiesse® restores volume to the face and stimulates the body’s natural production of collagen. It may also be used to increase volume in the lips.
Perlane®
Perlane® is ideal for moderate to severe facial wrinkles and nasolabial folds. It works by adding volume and fullness to the face. Perlane® is comprised of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring protein in the human body that is responsible for keeping skin supple. No allergy testing is required with Perlane® injections.
